Step-by-Step guide:
Step 1: First of all you need to visit their website and if you are a new user then simply press the “Create New Account” button that can be found underneath the New User section.
Step 2: Now, you will be asked to complete the following fields with real information. Your e-mail address through which you will be contacted if anything comes up or if you’ll ever lose your account information, you can receive it through this e-mail. Your username through which you will be logging in into your online account and then a password attached to the account which you will use as credential when logging in to your account. Then you must select a secret question and answer it, as this two will help in re-gaining your account information whenever you have troubles remembering it and it will also protect your account. Now, after answering your secret question, depending on if you are using a private desktop or a public one, you should tick off the “Remember me on this computer” check box if you are using a private desktop, otherwise uncheck it. In the next line there should be three links, one linking towards the “Terms and Services”, the second to the “Supplemental Terms” and the last one to the “H&R Block Privacy Policy”. You should click every each of them and read all the content to be aware of the terms under which you are signing up.
Step 3: Press the “Create Account” button to complete the registration process.
Step 4: After you are logged in into the dashboard, you are free to navigate through the options. If you have an Emerald Card already, you can press the “Start Now” button that can be found underneath the Emerald Card image.
Step 5: Press the “My Profile” menu button on the left of the website and complete the fields that fall under the “About Me” category to complete your account.
